We Want To Know! Your Opinion Matters!

We are grateful to have such wonderful residents and we want to make sure that we are living up to your expectations. Let your voice be heard by taking a few moments to complete a short survey sent from our partner, J Turner Research. These will be randomly emailed throughout your stay with us. We thank you in advance for helping us get better at making your days shine.

Beaufort County Library needs your input

Beaufort County Library needs your input on ways to provide successful outreach within the community. Please take a few moments to complete this survey.

Courtesy Reminders

  • Please respect your neighbors. Our quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
  • If depositing a cardboard box in our recyclable station by our trash compactor, please break down the boxes. This will help create space and maintain the area.

Do not dispose of your large bulky items in the compactor. Disposing of such items actually causes our compactor to either jam or burn the motor causing garbage back up that is very unsightly. You can dispose of them at our local waste/recycling convenience center located at 130 Castle Rock Road, open 7:30am-7pm closed on Wednesdays. This is less than a mile from the community. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Vending Machine

Have you heard? We now have a vending machine in our business center! Come in and enjoy a light snack when playing or browsing the internet.

Pool Reminders

  • Our pool hours are from 10am to 10pm.
  • There are no pets allowed in the pool area.
  • No glass containers or bottles are allowed.
  • Two guests per apartment are allowed unless approved my management.
  • All guests must be accompanied by a leaseholder.
  • Please practice courtesy at our grill stations. Turn off gas and limit usage if people are waiting.

If you are in violation of pool rules privileges may be revoked and fines will be assessed. Please be thoughtful of residents that live around our pool area and keep the volume to a respectful level.

Peach Jam

Total Time: 35 min
Prep: 10 min
Cook: 25 min

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cloves
  • 4 large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and coarsely chopped (about 2 pounds)

  • Put the sugar, 2 tablespoons of the lemon juice, vanilla and cloves in a heavy, nonreactive skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the peaches to the skillet and stir once to coat. Raise the heat to medium-high, and bring to a visible simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick and jam-like and the peach pieces are very soft, 15 to 20 minutes, depending on ripeness of the peaches. Check the pan midway, you may need to lower the temperature to medium if the mixture starts to brown.
  • Crush the peaches with a potato masher, until most of the mixture is smooth and there are only a few chunky pieces left. (The longer the mixture cooks, the thicker the jam will be after it cools.) Remove from the heat, stir in the remaining 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, and let cool before refrigerating. Cool completely in the refrigerator before using. Discard the cloves before serving. The jam will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Maintenance Tip

Having a problem with rust stains on your tub? Here is a tip to maintain your tub looking beautiful.

Occasionally it happens that a metal can, such as a shaving cream can, is left in the bathtub and results in a rust ring. An effective way to remove this rust ring is with baking soda.

Dampen the rust stains with water. Spread a layer of baking soda over them. Wet a soft nylon brush (old toothbrush works great) with water and scrub the baking soda gently into the rust stains. The water in the brush should combine with the baking soda to form a paste. Leave the baking soda paste on the rust stains for one hour. Rinse the paste off with a clean wet sponge. More stubborn stains may require multiple applications.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, such as Comet, or scouring pads; these will damage the tubs surface by putting micro scratches in the tub surface.

Planning a party or get together and have no idea where to have it? How about our clubhouse? We now are offering residents the chance to rent out the clubhouse for private events.
